EXPERIENCE:

Douglas Murray is president of our firm. He has been a project engineer responsible for analyses, condition surveys, mechanical systems design and specifications, and field services for over 25 years. He has been a principal engineer and project manager supervising an engineering staff for over 20 years. His attention to detail and his practice of tuning designs utilizing local experience and engineering knowledge from initial condition surveys and schematic designs through preparation of construction documents and finishing with construction services result in mechanical systems precisely matched to the client's needs.

His recent work experience includes phased renovations, new construction design, conceptual designs and master planning, energy efficiency renovations, and geothermal engineering. His engineering experience ranges from public facilities and multiple dwelling housing units to commercial offices, industrial facilities, airports, ferry terminals, elderly housing, schools, libraries, medical centers, hospitals, swimming pools, and industrial workshops in new and renovation projects throughout Southeast Alaska. Recent projects include Haines Borough Wood Boiler Feasibility, Johnson Youth Center Geothermal, Auke Bay School Renovation, Juneau Airport Renovation, and Bartlett Hospital Renovations.
