ALASKA SEAFOOD COMPANY, JUNEAU (2006)
Mechanical engineering for design-build/permit ready documents for a seafood processing facility.  Mechanical systems included domestic water and sanitary waste, processing water, ADA toilet rooms, and exhaust ventilation.






JUNEAU-DOUGLAS HIGH SCHOOL METAL SHOP RENOVATION (2006)
Client: City & Borough of Juneau
Services Provided:  Prime consultant of a CBJ consultant term contract that provided analysis of the existing welding shop exhaust air systems and then project mechanical engineering of a design-bid-build construction project. Mechanical systems included multiple welding exhaust fan systems with manifolded exhaust ducts and individual welding booth flexible exhaust pick-ups. Construction services included submittal review and inspection services.

KODIAK COAST GUARD BASE STEAM SYSTEM REPLACEMENT (2001)
Client: United States Coast Guard
Services Provided: Analysis, preliminary cost estimates, and construction documents for a multi-million dollar multiple phased replacement of the base wide utilidor distribution of the steam and condensate return system at the U.S. Coast Guard base in Kodiak, Alaska.  Work also included retrofitting the individual facilities with new utility services including steam header and condensate pumps.




JUNEAU PRINCESS CRUISES STEAM BOILER BUILDING (2001)
Client: Princess Cruise Line
Mechanical design, construction documents, and construction services for a high-pressure steam system serving steam equipment for the cruse ships when docked at the Juneau harbor.  Marine shore based building housed the steam boiler and electrical inter-tie systems.   Mechanical systems included electric steam boiler, de-aerator, heat exchanger, direct buried steam and condensate piping, dock installed steam and condensate piping, and ancillary plumbing systems.




U.S. COAST GUARD AIR STATION HANGAR RENOVATION, SITKA (2001)
Client: United States Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit
Services Provided: Sub-consultant for project mechanical engineering of a design-bid-build construction renovation project that rehabilitated an existing hangar facility on Japonski Island outside Sitka.  Hangar facility housed the three rescue HH-60J Jayhawk helicopters and repair facilities, administration offices, lockers, and maintenance quarters.   Mechanical systems renovation included cast-iron sectional boilers, variable speed pumping, domestic hot water generation, ventilation and exhaust systems, heat recovery ventilation, and direct digital controls.  Mechanical engineering services included design and construction administration.




HMB MACHINE SHOP AND OFFICE BUILDING, JUNEAU (1998)  
Services Provided:  Mechanical construction documents and construction services for a heavy machine shop and vehicle repair facility with welding areas.  Two story office building was adjoined to work facility.  Mechanical systems included oil-fired hot water boiler heating, ventilation, exhaust, plumbing, sprinkler, radiant exterior for snow-melting, and building automation system for controls.  

SOLID WASTE INCINERATOR BUILDING, SKAGWAY (1998)
Client: City of Skagway

Services Provided:  Mechanical design included on-site dry sprinkler system with reservoir and fire pumps, oil piping system for incinerator burners, oil-fired unit heaters, exhaust air system, domestic water, and emergency eyewash system.

SITKA SOUND SEAFOOD FACILITIES (1994)
Services Provided:  Engineering design and consultation regarding maintenance issues specifically domestic and industrial plumbing systems and exhaust systems.

CBJ EAGLECREST UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REPLACEMENT, JUNEAU (1994)
Client:  City and Borough of Juneau
Services Provided:  Analysis, design documents, and construction services for the removal of various underground fuel storage tanks and replacement with new underground and aboveground double wall tanks with STI-P3 corrosion protection, spill containment trim, secondary piping systems, and leak detection monitoring central system.  A project also included the design and installation of a fire rated aboveground split gasoline tank and dispensing station for maintenance vehicles.


WHITE PASS BULK FUEL FACILITY, JUNEAU (1994)
Services Provided:  Sub-consultant for project mechanical engineering of a design-build construction project involving multiple large bulk petroleum fuel tanks, piping distribution and filling system, dispensing truck station, marine dispensing and filling system, and foam fire suppression system.
