NATIONAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION OFFICE, JUNEAU (2009)
Client:   National Education Association of Alaska
Services Provided:  Sub-consultant for project mechanical engineering of a design-build construction project.  Mechanical systems included rooftop air source heat pumps supplying ventilation and cooling air to office spaces, exhaust air systems, plumbing, and sprinkler. Features of the building include carbon monoxide detection system controlling outside air ventilation system for parking garage.




SILVERBOW HOTEL EXTENSION, JUNEAU (2008)
Client: Silverbow Hotel
Services Provided: Sub-Consultant for project mechanical engineering of a design-bid-build construction project. Mechanical systems included: modification to heating and plumbing for apartment and hotel additions, indirect fired domestic hot water heater, exhaust air systems, and low voltage controls.




HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, JUNEAU (2008)
Client: Holy Trinity Church
Services Provided: Sub-Consultant for project mechanical engineering of a design-build construction project for a timber framed church with mechanical systems including, radiant floor heating, electric boiler heating plant, mechanical ventilation, domestic plumbing, commercial kitchen, sprinkler, and direct digital controls.

ISLAND PUB RESTAURANT, JUNEAU (2007)
Client: Island Pub Restaurant
Services Provided: Sub-Consultant for project mechanical engineering of a design-bid-build construction project including restaurant, bar, and smoking room. Mechanical systems included: rooftop ventilation with mechanical cooling, commercial kitchen, plumbing and exhaust systems, and sprinkler.




EVERGREEN BUILDING, JUNEAU (2007)
Client: Paul Voelckers
Services Provided: Prime Consultant for LEEDS office/apartment building providing mechanical engineering for a design-bid-build construction project. Systems included: heat recovery ventilation, electric heating, domestic plumbing, and low voltage controls. Project was awarded a LEEDS silver designation.




PAVITT'S HEALTH AND FITNESS, JUNEAU (2006)
Client: Cory Pavitt
Services Provided: Sub-Consultant for renovation project providing mechanical engineering for a design negotiated bid construction project. Mechanical systems included: heat recovery ventilation and heating air for small resistance pool and hot tub area, domestic plumbing for toilet and shower areas, radiant floor heating, and exhaust air systems.

Services Provided:  Sub-consultant for project mechanical engineering of a design-build construction project. Mechanical systems included variable speed ventilation, heating, and cooling air to office spaces, exhaust air systems, plumbing, direct digital controls and sprinkler.




SPICKLER EGAN FINANCIAL OFFICE, JUNEAU (2005)
Client: Spickler Egan Financial Office
Services Provided:  Sub-consultant for project mechanical engineering of a design-build construction project. Mechanical systems included variable speed ventilation and cooling to office spaces, radiant floor heating, oil fired heating plant, exhaust air systems, plumbing, direct digital controls and sprinkler.

SKAGWAY AIR TERMINAL (1999)
Construction documents and construction services for a new air terminal in Skagway.  Mechanical systems included domestic plumbing, heating, ventilation featuring a heat recovery ventilator, fuel oil piping and storage, and automatic
controls.

WHITE PASS & YUKON ROUTE RAILROAD DEPOT, SKAGWAY (1997)
This fast-track project included a new ventilation and exhaust system, building automation control system, and an extension to the hydronic heating system and wet sprinkler system.  Spaces include a large main lobby, gift shop, inventory storage, and small office.  Construction Documents and services were provided.  

SITKA TRIBE OF ALASKA COMMUNITY HOUSE (1997)
Construction documents and inspection services for a new multi-use cultural facility for the Sitka Tribe.  Mechanical systems included ventilation, heating, domestic plumbing, automatic sprinklers, building automation system (BAS) controls, and an exhaust system for the interior fire pit in the performance amphitheater.

GASTINEAU HUMANE SOCIETY ANIMAL SHELTER, JUNEAU (1984)
Analysis of the mechanical systems for the animal shelter.  Prepared list of proposed modifications and various budget costs to the heating and ventilation.  Bid ready Design documents were then prepared for a new exhaust fan system providing a negative air pressure in the dog kennels in order to upgrade the ventilation rates and to help prevent the spread of airborne smells and diseases throughout the rest of the facility.  Design also included a new air-to-air heat recovery ventilation unit for the cat kennel areas.  Services included construction administration and inspections of the work throughout the project and adjusting of mechanical systems at the completion.
